Honda seats(Prelude, Integra) go well in a bug and available from most Honda wreckers. They are narrow and adjustable in everyway & have lumbar support etc.

You just have to fab a simple box base and bolt in.

I have the original front seat mounts and rail to suit my kombi, can I just attach them and if so/not do I need an engineers certificate?
Thanks 5PL1TDCS10N

Hi Megalania,

If they fit well on the kombi base then all you will need is some high tensile nuts/bolts/split washers. You will also need some 10cm x 10cm steel plates underneath for re-enforcement.

Best to check with the local authorities as this is ok in WA.

Cheers- Wayne

HAHAHA..thanks Neil! I like living on the edge sometimes! And I use good quality racing tape by the way! I drove my bug for a few years without seat belts too if you must know!
