after a very long day kim got herbie home lol
only overheated 15 times before getting to a cooler climate however the 42 shouts of
HEY ITS HERBIE!!!! THE 116 SMILES AND THE 67 WAVES
made it all worth it :P
kim ended up cable tieing the engine lid open a bit for better air flow
herbie got up to 117km down hill
lol kim is now really missing the 1641 we recently sold
never realised how much power it had until driving the 1300
kim is determined to give it a 1600 before the weekend is over
:o
hmmm he gets tooo much female attention now i think i may have to annexe the car from him :bounce

Kim and Sharon. I'm glad that Herbie made it, despite the heat. I miss him already. See? I told you how much attention you will get driving a Herbie. They are the coolest cars in the world.

Methinks that a Herbie Baja named Muad'dib would be a bit incongruous, but to make a Baja that would not look out of place on Arrakis and you guys wearing still suits when you show it would be very appropriate.
