ok ok .... so it is stored at his mum's place, a secret location somewhere in vic, and he needed help, and my car (Ruby) sat in his driveway for 6 months while i got it ready for rego, and i needed to visit my mum also, so we set out to cut up this item, so we can get more items in the garage, don't show this to mum........
and it didn't take long, what with taking mum out for a coffee, well that justifies using the garage, about .002 cents per day; cheap. so we get access to it and start, then we get to this point, then the camera comes out..
good to see we're wearing safety eqiupmenmt, at this point..
and as the job progresses, we remember the good old days and start to reminisce,, yadda yadda yadda.. anywho, time for another photo,,
and here you see Doc, and Daryl, posing for the camera...
and this one with the farway look, imagining we have a steering wheel, could be handy really, and a 1835 in the rear, worked with the lot thanks, and Daryl still hanging in there, look out the GP is in Melb soon......
and here it is towards the end, and it's getting warm so we've lost the overalls, not that good a look, but safe for an experienced boiler maker,, (that just means they have lost feeling, and hot sparks drop off like water off a chook)
and now it's time to head off, park/hide some parts out behind the shed,,,,,
"mum it was him not me",,
and we both said that when she asked 2 weeks later, she's on the ball godbless her.. only 81 this year....
take away the rubbish, sell, mostly swap parts, well for Doc, not me, and another day of family fun is complete..
rossko..
PS anyone interested in a 6V to 12V converter?
