Hopefully SBS show the whole episode they were supposed to show since I walked away when I saw the same thing again.
The top speed run is bloody impressive. I dont know how it could stay so straight, so easy. At that speed a slight turn of the wheel would put you a long way sideways.
2 things that make it a crap clip(and the tv show), too much editing with too much talking, you never get to hear the engine, and secondly all the reference to F1. An F1 would do that top speed if thats what an F1 needed to do. Unfortunately there are no drag races for F1, no 5km straights with a banked ovals leading onto them, and they dont have retractable wings to remove the drag. I'd like to see the veyron do 1:14 around monaco. Its a silly comparison. The concorde was supposedly pretty fast, but I'd like to see it out-manouvre a spitfire.
ps scott storch is a dickhead spending hundreds of thou on slappers that already have way too much money. Give it to me, I'd appreciate it more. I'd probably put out for it too.
