a unique paint job

Well my car is getting pretty close to paintin time and its time to settle on a scheme. I've had in my head a nice metalic purple (or perhaps two tone purple and white? But I've been told dark two tones dont look too good??? ) BUT i cant find a nice purple AND having metalic paint is going to push the price up by about $1k. That doesnt rule out metalic but I would like to have a few other options in my head to work out the best one. Doesnt have to be purple - just want something which will look good, and not "another bug painted in that scheme" etc... any ideas 😀 please help :P 🙂
