Alot of wheel alignment places wont touch old cars.
If they cant find it on the computer programme they wont touch them.
Literally took me a dozen places before i went to one near V Force. They had been forcbly instructed in how to do it.
They have gooses that operate the computers and wont move from the rule book

do it your self i had the same problem with the beetle as it was to low, just find the center of the beam, and measure from the cener of each wheel to the center of the beam... well you get the gist of it😎

I think Grey57 knows of a place in Frankston that do old cars (the old school way I believe). They have a pit so you don't scrape your rear end on some ramp. May be worthwile sending him a U2U. I have the same problem with my lowered type 3 as the rear scrapes on some driveways.

If you can't fix it with a hammer,
you have an electrical problem....
theres a guy out in mitcham who does them, got my type 3 done there a while back, cant think of the name at the moment but would highly recommend them, they have old school computer aided adjustment.

Try Hendersons in Seaford. They do and know VW no problems. Use pit so no ramps.

That Pedders there is great. Karl and Andre do some of the suspension work to my slammed Astina.
64 Beetle. Like a beaten up 70's speedboat.
Make it easier for them and soak the track rods in penatrating (sp) oil or use the blow torch to free it up. I did it once with a diagram and its not that hard. The front of the tyres has to toe in 5mm more or somthing. The body was off so that might have made it easier

Thanks Steve, I was trying to find a link to that before. Those G town boys might get excited, hope there isnt a banjo at JNRs tonight, they will go nuts.
