Here's a video clip of the launch control/anti-lag setup on my R32 skyline GTS4, my other toy. I can easily achieve 20lb boost at 4000rpm as well, though i noticed for this video clip i had the stall RPM set at 5000. This was from a previous car show where there was a go-woah event that I entered the car in. Because the event wasn't judged or timed and it turned into a v8's doing burnouts for the length of the strip I decided I'd scare crap out of everyone and have smoke coming from 4 tyres, with 4 people in the car. Was great fun because I pissed off a heap of v8 rednecks with my little 2lt rice burner. I have some video of that too.
The setup uses 1 aux out and 1 aux in on the ecu, and an MSD DIS 4 (but you can use any 2 step limitor), and a button on the steering wheel. When I floor it, at 4000 rpm a relay is triggered which sends a ground signal via the steering wheel button to the MSD and the AUX in. This ground signal enables the pre-set rev limitor (5000rpm in this case), as well as tells the ecu to retard the ignition timing 45 degrees from the current map point. So at 4000rpm with no vacuum the ignition is at 35 degrees advanced, minuis 45 degrees makes it 10 degrees retarded. Once boost begins to rise, the ignition retards further to a maximum of 25 degrees retarded. 15% fuel is also added to help keep things cooler and spool it all up quicker.
At night it blows nice flames from the exhaust and out the screamer pipe from the external gate under the car.

This second video is of me playing silly buggers doing a 0-60k launch in about 1.5 seconds. Handy for pulling out in peak hour traffic.

Sorry to everyone that I've posted this rice burner stuff here... I've learnt a lot from this car though, and am now applying some of what i've learned to my vw project.
Cheers,
