As the title says, I'm after a front apron for a '71 super beetle. I don't need the lock, just the panel. I'm hoping someone has an old shell sitting out the back yard with a decent nose on it and is willing to part it out. Prefer Bendigo area, but will drive to melb if I have to.
Either that or does anyone know of a wrecking yard where I might get one.

You can still purchase that section new save a lot of time and effort removing from a wreck
Thanks guys. I no longer need an apron as I have managed to repair the original one. In fact, I had completely forgotten about this thread.
I did contact a few shops at the time and they all said that they were out of stock and weren't expecting more for another six months or some such thing :duh
