Seeing as though its the weekend I thought Id ask here first. where can i buy GOOD flor pan halves? I'm talking ones made out of decent thickness metal unlike some of the crappy brazilian ones I have used in the past.
For 72 standard beetle (ball joint/swingaxle)

Vintage Vdubs has brazilian halves for $175 but they advised that I probably should cut my old seat rails off & weld them to the new half, can any one give me some other reccomendations from past experiences.

Cheers

There is a thread on SBO at the moment

"Hot VWs magazine is doing a good series of articles on floor pans right now. They are using pans from wolfsburg west http://wolfsburgwest.com

They are supposed to be the strongest with .035" steel and they are about the most expensive I have seen. I plan on using these pans for my project unless anyone knows of anything better."
