The Volkswagen Museum is in Wolfsburg Germany. I went there last year and worth a visit for sure. There is also a museum and at the Volkswagen factory in Wolfsburg which is equally as good, and a factory tour that is a must.

The best way to get there is via train through Hannover or Berlin depending on where your coming from. Send me a u2u if you want some more info. There are a few others on here that have been also.

I drove to Wolfsburg in my 72 bay 2 years ago and be warned. First 2 weeks in August the factory shuts for summer holidays so no factory tour.
Still plenty to see however.

Here is the story of my drive incase you are interested as printed in this months VW camper and commercial magazine (dont know if you guys get this mag down there)

Whatever you do have a great holiday.

Might be a bit late for you now but there is also a Westphalia Museum in Hannover (Germany). We went there back in 96. Its pretty small but worth a visit. Plenty of Splitties and a couple of bays as well as loads of trailers and things.

Sorry, cant remember exactly where it is as we followed a local to it.

The Wolfsburg museum was a lot smaller then too. Click the link below for photos
