Won't be cooking any more rice with that.
OUCH ! ...."dad my clutch is slipping.."
"how bad son " ?
" well theres some oil under the car.
and a hole in the bonnet !............🙄
I watched a kid do something very similar to an auto in a mk3 Jetta in Virginia a little while ago....
more trans hanging out of the pan than in....
When good clutches go bad.....
hehehehe
Time is a great healer. Unless it's a rash, then you're better off with ointment.
That's why dragsters must have a strong steel box around the clutch. Fragmentation of a clutch is not fun if you are sitting next to it.
yep, the clutch plate has fallen out, but the cause is not clutch failure, but flywheel failure! Nasty.
I saw that happen to an Austin 7 on the start line at Mt. Tarrengower a couple of years ago. The guy driving it was lucky to walk away, his feet sit right next to the bell housing. The hole in the cowling looked like someone had taken to it with a shotgun.
The best would be in a mini where the flywheel is in line with your balls.
Brad
had my flywheel shatter on my hillclimb mini, at night big bang everyting stopped, car behind got peppered in bits of housing, got car towed back to garage then found holes in floor next to pedals, followed a rough path of travel and pulled some lumps from roof lining. Worked out missed me by inches. havent driven a mini since....
is it broken? 🤪
Nothing some gaffer tape and locktite can't fix. The scratch on the bonnet will polish out too.:thumb
Lucky his bonnet had Hoodjax or he could have cooked the engine as well.😂

If you can't fix it with a hammer,
you have an electrical problem....
