Guys and Gals,

I have a beetle sitting in my brother-in-laws driveway in outer Eastern Melbourne. And he wants it gone. I need to get it here to Sydney in the next couple of weeks.

If anyone has any leads on an empty car trailer heading up the Hume, or a cheap car carrying company I'd sure appreciate a tip.

Unsure if it will help but look for the local boys around your area, not necessarily the big boys hit them up. Ask them if they run to where ever and see when they have a dead load(empty).
I often score dead loads from brisbane to northern NSW on a flat bed with trailer for less than what it costs to put it on a car carrier. Dont be afraid of asking if they know anyone who is on the way back empty, most of them are trying to make a buck.
