when the rear wheel are off the ground and the car is in neutral, if i spin one wheel the other rear wheel spins the oppisite way, shouldnt this only happen when the car is in gear?

this may be a silly question but im trying to figure out why my baja jumps from side to side when i drive along slowly, im thinking maybe my gearbox is buggered......

It's normal for both wheels to spin in opposing directions when in neutral. How do you mean "jumps from side to side" ???

i just discovered a slight egg in one rear tyre so thats probobly it, im glad thats normal for both tyres to spin neutral.

getting new tyres next week anyway.

when u drive slow it kinda feels like the rear of the car is going over slight bumps even on dead flat road, but its gotta be the egg in the tyre.

thanks mick.
