When i drive the T3 i can here a "whine - whir - buzz"
A noise.
Seems to be coming from ........ dunno where really
Guess you here it most from the middle seat
I have crawled under and i think it is the fuel pump.
How quiet should they be??
This one is vibrating a bit - and i think that is translating into the "whine - whir - buzz" inside.
What is the big silver canister next to it??
Guess it is easy enough to change.
Do you replace with a stock - or is there a better after market one??

The canister beside it is a Z168 Fuel filter, is there a plastic filter before the pump? They can get blocked up and strangle the fuel pump. You should get rid of it and fit a plastic screen before the pump, not a filter. Fuel pumps push fuel very well, but dont like to suck fuel. If the pump dies, you can replace it with a fuel pump from a VL commodore.

as far as i know they all have a whine noise.. well my last one did anyway... and have been told by another t3 owner it's "normal"
I forgot to mention, the Metal fuel filter after the pump (Z168) needs to stay there, only remove the plastic fuel filter before the pump if its there.
