Can anyone help? I'm desperately searching for a new engine lid for my 63 Beetle, can anyone help me? I'm in Brisbane please let me know ASAP.

I have a more correct style lid but a bit more rust...can repair for u depending on how good u want.

u said new do u mean new or replacement or !??

if interested pls e-mail me for pic.
has hinges, also pope's nose and lock and handle on it should u need them

maybe send me a pic of yours.

want any vw bits old but like me, Made in Germany!!!

rackie i got one thats really solid but just needs a little bit of love if ur interested

no real rust in it but theres a small dent near the handle and the hinges need a good shot of WD40

ill be up in a few weeks for action day

This looks good - I have forwarded the pictures onto uncle Noel (who's fixing FERN) and see what he thinks. He's had to cut a fair bit of rust out of Ferns lid and wanted to see if we could get a better one before he goes any futher.

Will let you know and if its a go, would we be able to meet at Byron this Saturday and we could pick it up, we need the lid ASAP.
