indicator switch on 69 type3 same as?....

the indicator switch on my 69square has packed up, its the one with the main beam whan you pull back, is this the same as came on any beetles etc?

It should be the same as the beetle , later models have a two stage switch '71 on according to the bentley manual. But aussie and us cars differ sometimes so best check. I can remember using a later type 3 switch in a beetle and having to remove 3 of the blinker wires (it had 6 instead of 3)
