Anyone have a spare type IV dipstick laying around? I need one for my engine for warwick (along with a lot of other stuff but hey, one thing at a time!).

Cheers

I have one for you, but isn't your engine an upright ? Either way let me know what length you want and I will be able to help you out. Cost $0.01

Thanks Brad - yep the engine is upright using a dipstick adaptor.....however the type I dipsticks are too short. Basically I start wtih a type IV, fill the engine with the required amount of oil, then cut the dipstick to suit and mark it accordingly (worked fine in the last setup but I had to donate my dipstick to a kombi I helped fix.

Anyway, cheers again - will u2u my address (happy to pay for postage plus the hefty $0.01 charge for the stick! 😉
