I made my own last week for Col's fruitloop. Not quite as prety but a lot cheaper too. Not shiney or adjustable, but it cost nothing. A few bits of steel and about 3 hours!
Worked a treat, 3rd gear burnouts, no axle hop, but we do have all solid mounts and a berg style front support all in swing axle. These supports are all you need if you dont want to modify car from original. Thinking of making some in the future to sell, but adjustability for all cars will require heim joints or similiar.
Gday Damo, sorry I missed catching up at Warwick. Hope you had a great event and a safe trip home.
Cheers
Matt

yeah, Pagey made an adjustable one for Rod's car from old tie rods and ends.......cool!
yes Matt, i pretty much just enjoyed spectating for a change at Warrick..........just hanging with my boy, which was good after all the lost time trying to get the car there.................imagine my excitment when i saw "crazy Col's" car running........thinking it was still the 1640!!!!!!!!!! (well, i kinda suspected an engine increase tho😁).......................all the way home i was like, that was way cool and i've got 1776 cc😉.......................then i saw a post about the new 2330?........DOH! haven't had much keeness to work on mine since😢
Damo enjoy your masterpiece. She will be a ripper, and last forever. The 2332 was borowed, all I had to do was build it. Tue before event to start assembly was keen but all went well. Now we have to give the donk back.🙁
Pics are already on Warwick threads. The mighty Fruitloop was on a temporary steroid abuse program. Col reckons strokers are like crack. One use and your hooked. (So they say).
The fruitloop is seen in two photos here so far and she's even pulling wheelies, which obviously isn't always the best launch, but the crowd love it.
Bugzla what model bug and suspension type have you got and what type of driving/racing do you want to do?

There's more qualified than me around here, but I'm partial to a berg style fromt mount and the truss bar seems to be very effective. As for the extra weight, I would expect type 3 torsions to be a minimum requirement if not bigger sway a ways with some 1/2 decent shocks. I prefer the light weight angle.
