Painted at last, well we tryed painting it the week-end before the vw fest but weather was poor ( rain).Tryed again Tuesday ,roof flaired up ( fish eyes ), sanded roof back three hours later, finished at midnight . Called a mate ( Col ) he did some more sanding next day and painted the black upper half just before dark. Rained again for the next two day's.Saturday was on us, after work commitments ( launch time) started masking up and more sanding, col started painting at 3o'clock ( weather cooling off ) finished at 6o'clock in the dark ( Heat gone, spot lights on for heat ). Two hours latter ,started putting panels back on car .Then a magor clean inside and out, finished at 2o'clock in the morning. We made the show and had a good time with all fellow vw freinds. NEXT WEEK JOBS fix all runs and sand the bugs out !!!!!!!!!!!!. I love working to a dead line.
