Nice day with plenty of people circulating.

I was really happy to see a few cars that I have only ever seen on this site.

Just a few pics

Final Lots of pics

I know my focus is Type 1's but I have to say there were some AMAZING Kombis there too.

I think the quality of the Kombi's were the highlight for me.

No sorry 🙁

I shouldnt have been so "bug" eyed.

I am sure someone else has done a proper journalistic job though!

Luv that Ascort. The RAT067 Beetle display is well done too.

Very nice turn out, great location on a sunny Sunday👍

Grey 57 - Thanks for the kind words on the Boris display.
Bigfella - The ship is a floating restaurant called the Buffalo (great seafood).
68Autobug - The Ascort was a recent purchase by the owner from NSW. It has a full history (initially exported to NZ) and has had a full restoration over recent years. Jeff has put the wheels on and has looked at the suspension a little. It is running a Porsche 356A engine. There was a full article recently in Unique Cars. I hope to catch up with the owner soon and I will encourage him to jump on to give you the full low down.
