Ok for all those buggy heads that have yet to know of the Dune Buggy and Baja Adventures Forum , heres some late news.
The boys at Volks Mod ( Kurt & Gunter ) have last night just picked up a Genuine Australian Built Meyers Towdster which being the buggy mad bloke i am today inspected , and YES its the real deal.
I'll post some photos up soon people but in the mean time keep seaching as their out there hiding in sheds somewhere and last i heard there is only 165 known in the world out of the 860 odd ever built so as you can imagine they are a wanted item espesially here in Oz where we believe there was less than 10 ever HERE and with fact i know of 7 definets.
I'll be writing an article in the near future on these fun machines in Oz so if you have ANY info big or small please contact me .
Thanks Andrew

Wags, definitely interested in this. If Andrew or I can get them that would be great. I live at Bridgeman Downs, do you still live near Bunnings? I'll come pick em up.
Do you know if the one down the coast has side pods- that mate of mine is still keen to know what happened to his old towd- did he get in touch with you ? I think it was done in a yellow gel coat..
Good to see another one out of a barn.
Cheers

Peter i wondered who gave Brian Dunns the tip off about my Towdster.
The car that Gunter and Kurt have bought was bought by the previose owner brand new at Manx Buggys in approx 1989 .
Brian believes his old car was last used as a farm paddock toy out the back of Toowoomba, which i would hope that it is still out there somewhere waiting to be found .

found an article in a four by four mag from April 1978 that was held down at Oxenford and there where 2 towd's that race down there. These had side pods on them. do you know anything about these or where they ended up.
As a few of you would realise i have changed the title of this post as more info is starting to be discovered on Towds and Towdsters in Oz.
Keep up the great work every body and keep those Pics and any info comming.
