Cost: $75

Howdy,

I no longer have use for my old non synchro first g'box out of my 54 oval.

When in the car everything shifted pretty smoothly and only occasionally had a little grind from 2nd to 3rd (or maybe it was the other way around). Didn't jump out of any gears.

This was not reco'd when in my possession and I have no idea if it has been in the past so it is "As is".

It's axle boots are stuffed, comes with axles and axle tubes but no rear brakes as they are still on the oval.

I can get a picture if you really want but it just looks like an old gearbox 🙂

I am pretty flat out so I'd really prefer pickup only unless you can organise a courier to pick it up from my house at Palm Beach, gold coast.

Cheers
Alan

is it noisy at all? Mine is horribly loud.

leak much oil? mine does, like a siv.

this could be a good replacement for mine, see what I can do about getting a mates ute to help out.

Not too noisy compared to some ovals I have ridden in - first gear obviously whines but that is standard!

It was a bit oily underneath but I dare say that is from years of not being cleaned as it didn't leave drips on my garage floor.

Its ok Alan, Craig can have it, hopefully mine will be fine until Dubs, so long as it lasts til then and for the drive, I'm fine, as after that weekend I might pull the oval off the road to start its build.....and it won't include a 36hp or a crash box, so I probably can do without it....thanks anyway!

No probs mate, thanks for letting me know.

Craig, looks like you have yourself a split case tranny. I'll shoot you my bank details and I'll put it aside for when you are up this way next.
