Need to get a 'cat sized' object about 200 metres, to be mounted on a single cab. Aiming for about 4 rounds a minute. Aiming to a trebuchet type up and over action. Need a fair amount of air to get vertical impact.

Got to be ready in time for Valla. Also anyone know how get flour and water to react with air to make fire.

Thanks.

Doubtful the 2.7m SC deck will be a large enough footprint to allow the motion of a trebuchet to throw 1.75 kg mass 200 metres.. Dont forget the "down" action of the trebuchet after releasing the projectile would probably smash the winscreen (unless you mounted to release to the rear).. I would suggest a mangonel or a ballista weapon would achieve a much better result given the limited space of your firing platform..Also consider compressing the "cat" into a ball or cylinder prior to discharge as the cylinder or ball projectile will maintain velocity and trajectory longer than a cat with arms and legs flailing all over the place.. You may wish to sedate the cat prior to stuffing into a canister.. I would suggest a large tomato can (1.25l) should do the trick..

Happy to send plans of any of the above weapons if required..

Also, considering the "rate of fire" you are expecting, Its probably not advisable to use the trebuchet.. A mangonel with around 400 ft/lbs will do the trick.. two men loading and firing should maintain a rate of fire about 6-8 shots per minute

Ah Sten Guns, we seem to have our project engineer ... maybe we need a jinker and assemble on the ground. Will Google the Mangonel. Sorry Tebuchet is the weapon of choice in AOE2, so assumed it was the business.
