Sorry to see what happened to your ride. Really P`s me off when d/heads do this sorta stuff. A lump of 4x2 would certainly come to mind if it was my car and i found out who it was who did the damage. Better find a safer spot to park the car if you can.

I am a great advocate of never leaving any of my cars parked outside of my property. Parked outside on the side of the road or footpath just makes too easy of a target for idiots.

tough luck mate but at least it's an easy fix.

it wasnt an accident, some coppers came to my house a couple hours after i posted this thread and photographed the damage, saying that 7 or 8 cars in my street had it done to them as well.

so it was intentional.

and if i ever find out who did it, the cops wont be the one laying justice 😬

the way my driveway is, i dont really have any other option.

i have to park my work van on the other side of the driveway, in a similar position.

im actually kind of dissapointed it didnt happen to the work van instead of the beetle 🙁 lol

Why don't people have better things to do. It peeves me to hear that they have done it to a number of cars.

I bet you the police won't get them and nothing will happen. As someone previously stated what goes around comes around.

Cheers

Tonight I caught some lowlife touch parking his Nissan against my Bug. Tapped on his window and asked nicely to be a tad more careful eh.
Walked away and watched for a while while he battled to fit his Nissan in (was a disabled bay btw, he was not) then he tapped the back of my beetle again. That was the last straw so I educated him. As he was Asian I doubt he understood what I was saying.

Some people have no respect and don't deserve the luxury of living in our great country.
Hope they catch the fuggers that broke your window chief, name and shame em...

My bug was vandalised while i was at one of my girlfreinds mates place. Both tailights kicked in, both rear guards dented where the tailights had been kicked in, muffler jumped on and bent, wipers ripped off, decklid badges ripped off, all 4 tyres dead flat, mirror broken, running boards dented, bonnet dented, fuel cap and surround was scratched where they tried to get in... 😬 $2,500 worth of damage. Happened late at night, no witnesses so nothing anybody could do about it. Insurance covered it, but still cost me $400 to make the claim, Luckily it didnt affect my no-claim as it was classified as "malicous damage". A smashed window sucks, but is easy to replace and not too costly.
