That Swan in NSW would have you stopped by the Highway Patrol as it does cause a risk due to its position and design. I was stopped, on an information day by the HWp and asked to remove my rod holders from the front of the bull bar. Reason, if someone were to be hit it would cause more damage than the original design of the car. I dont think I would be too worried about a rod holder when being bashed by a full steel Nissan Patrol bull bar.

Those swans were a generic accessory in the 60's & 70's. I've seen them on holdens, falcons & valiants, even some pommy cars. Sometimes they had coloured (almost see through) wings.

Regards,

Matt.

Where is this magic place where you can get metric fuel lines? 1/4" is the closest I can get here and it took me a while to find even that. It also took me a couple of weeks of detective work just to find a metric thread oil light sender. This place is a joke.

Anyway, that's a really nice find you have there. Great fun to drive.
