Hi

I received this email asking has anybody seen this Bay Camper. Can anybody help?

==============================

This is a real long shot.

In 1990 I owned a 1970 VW Camper, registered on a WA plate 7ER 710. I spent a year travelling around Australia in it and I was wondering if it could have survived to today.

Is their a vehicle register where a vehicle can be traced from the plate? If so please let me know by responding to the email address below.

Unfortunately in WA they will not supply any info. Various motoring clubs and organisations have asked for this especially when tracing history of classic and vintage cars.
It was suggested that they charge a fee but no go.

Well she seems to be in good nick there, so maybe she was saved. Try the Kombiclub maybe. Someone there would know something.
