Foglights/ driving lights

helbus · 2008-05-06T11:23:12+00:00

Rules we should obey on the road, obviously for the convenience and courtesy to others. "Foglights must not be used except in fog or mist or under other atmospheric conditions which restrict visibility." So I now ask firstly "Why do people feel it necessary to arrogantly have front fog/ driving lights that sometimes are equivalent to aircraft landing lights on at the front and sometimes the red super beam fog rear lamp that is ignorantly put on as well?" Are you one of these people?????? Why do you do it? Do you think it would or would not inconvenience other drivers? Is it just because you can? Is it just an image thing? Personally in my own opinion it is not a vehicle with any class that has to have driving lights on all the time just for the driver to think it looks cool. My poor 45W yellowish light generator powered headlights pale into significance, but I seem to get around allright!

I suppose night would be more of a celestial condition rather than atmospheric condition. However you do often get fog at night. Much better to have a low spread light when the fog is real bad.
