What Oil & Coolant for T3 Transporter???

Guys,

Can I have some advice / recommendations on oil & coolant for my T3 transporter.

Oil: what grades & brands are recommended? how much is needed for a full change?

Coolant: I have read that G12+ (I think) is whats recommended but where do I get it? & how much is needed for a full flush / replacement?

Oil - 4.5L with filter. Pretty much good quality 20W/50 is what i use

Coolant - yep G12+. Get it from a VW place
there is 17.5L required.
Costs about $20 a 1L bottle. Might be cheaper in bulk.
Mixes at 3 or 4 to 1

Cost me about $180 at a shop and he replaced the bottle and a few things

I agree stick with the G12+ in the correct proportion, we use 6x1.5 litre bottles giving approx 50% ratio but if you want to go higher use more.. The system is a bit of a s**** to bleed so be very careful.Don't try to save money by using another coolant or a smaller quantity as it will cost $$$ Good luck and I hope you enjoy the transporter.
