I am chasing some early 60's tail light lenses for the race car. They are only props so condition isn't a huge concern.
PM, email stanley111@optusnet.com.au or ph 0423775037.

thanks in advance

Show us the bases dude(measurments?).
They may be the small one which can be more expensive than the Oval Glass ones.
I may have some lenses in the shed but they will be ugly.

These are the late 60's to mid 61. I believe these are what that refer to as the 61 tail lights - 50/50.

Kevin

P.S. Mine are not for sale
I thought rebuilding a VW would be cheap - Shit I was wrong, just don't let the wife know !!!!

Early 1960 tail lamps were the glass oval shaped ones
that were also used on 1956 57 58 59 Beetles.
Early 60s beetles also had trafficators [no blinkers]
[called semaphores in the US.. as they didn't have them]

the late 60 1961 [1/2 1/2] tail lamps are probably amongst the rarest in the world , as they were only used in Australia and Italy...
the housing may be the same size as 1959 early 60 glass oval tail lamps. [same size on the guard]

Thanks everyone.

I was under the impression that they were the rare ones, but as they're not I can buy new ones for $17.

Thanks again
