What are people using fuel filter wise. Got webbers, which means i need clean fuel or the pilots block. I have an el-cheapo repco stocker filter at the moment.

What are people using. I have an 8mm line and 1916 engine. i assume i need something bigger and better. Maybe 2 filters???

Use a Ryco Z200 or (Valvoline equivilent). It is a steel EFI filter (not a crappy plastic filter) as used on Falcomodores and is cheap, like $12, readily available (supercrap, repco) and is easy to mount with a rubber lined P clamp. Takes 8mm lines. I used 2 on the Manx, one pre pump and one post pump. They won't fail/crack/perish like plastic ones so there is no fire risk with one after the pump.

Just my choice.

Hi

I used a similar filter the one that MikeM suggested from a Pulsar and you can get a steel click in bracket from a wrecker from the same car. If you want to get carried away you can fit a diesel water trap & filter.

Hi

The diesel ones have a glass bowl sometimes, the pulsar ones are steel or alloy.

a good idea is not to mount it on the engine bay area just in case it splits and wants to dump guzoline all over a hot motor = run forest run from the flames..
i mounted mine under the car away from nasty things like that..
good luck wif it..
cheers h

i did same as steve
metal efi filter mounted in nissan bracket bolted to the firewall above my master cylinder
change once a year no more hassles

the dell on the supercharger was easy as to clean idle jets but the 40mm twin webers i was running were a nightmare to get the idle jets out of
and thanks to a plastic filter i had back then it was a monthly chore
