This one comes from Chile, South America, where the VWs sold there are made in Brazil.

The tag line is 'Golf. At a price that won't be back.'

Note how the Golf is a Mk4 with a different nose.

And I don't understand the price - $7.49 million ?!

You're right.

Chile's currency is the Chilean peso, made up of 100 centavos. (they use the '$' sign).

According to http://au.finance.yahoo.com, 1 Aussie dollar equals 446.51Chilean peso this morning. Therefore, the C$7,490,000 equals $16,774.54 Australian dollars.

Mystery solved - thanks. Aren't Golfs cheap in Chile !

The black market rate for us was 1USD for 2.3million Zim Dollars and rising every week.
