the hose ducts air to the oil cooler

unless u have a mild to wild motor their abit over kill for stock
but they do look sexy and im failry sure they cool 10% better than the standard doghouse setup but the way jake designed them was so there is less of a temp difference between the 4 cylinders than a standard setup

most ppl that have them arent worried about heaters so they were never really setup for them
id be worried about diverting to much of the oil coolers air flow by tee-ing off the hose for heaters

talk with damo (66deluxe) hes good mates of jakes and has a few of his kits

Eraser, the type 1 DTM, utilizes your factory sealing tin, only the type 4 DTM requires custom sheetmetal. The duct diverts cooling air to the oil cooler in the back of the shroud, the cooler housing is designed for a type 4 oil cooler not a type 1 cooler. They are a very well made unit.

Damo.
