did some playing around today and came up with this. i think it looks ok. havn't really seen it done before. curious what other people think of it. also i have a short smiley faced friend. ignore him.
certainly different
is there much strength there?
and got any plans yet for finishing the edges off cos they look abit on the sharp side
it has a 10 mm safety edge folded all round. and it has a bracket towards the pointy end that is going to connect to the bars when they go on to stop it vibrating or moving around.
number plate will go in the centre of it and some non original tail lights will be on brackets coming out from the firewall to sit about mid way down either side of the curves.
batman?
haha didn't think of batman. don't know if i like it as much any more.
Sorry, but looks photo shoped to me. And I do mean the car, not your mates head.

u can only cut up so many bug panels before it becomes a crime
i plead guilty your honour 😂
Dilbert, I didn't mean to offend about my photo shop quote. I just thought it looked like it was, so sorry about that.

I also thought that the first pic looked photoshopped to an extent with the difference in resoloution when comparing the engine to the engine lid. The grey colour makes it very decieving with the RHS part of the engine in the photo looking extremely one dimensional.
Looks very interesting and different all the same👍
BTW. Your friend has a wooden stick coming out of his chest. I hope he is ok🙂

Those lights ruin the custom look and just look like something of an Isuzu truck.👎
Why not get some repro teardrop ford taillights from a hot rod shop and maybe fit some custom Harley indicators (only about $18 each for some Zodiac brand bullet style).
It would really make the effort of customising worth it.
Just my opinion 😏

Heres some piccys of what I mean.
Try a google search under Early Ford Lights or Hot rod and you will get a heap of places & images to inspire you.🤪

wow those do look pretty sweet
80 years on and those lights look pretty schmick.
Do away with those un-necessary front fenders and you got yerself one nice little hot roddy toy!
If you buy from the USA then you will need to get some Amber indicators as the US will probably supply red lens only. Might be easier to source these lights from a local hot rod shop or custom place. Plenty around if you google.
Looking god with the mods too👍
