hi all
For sale (regretful)
one ej20 twin turbo subaru motor pulled from a 1994 legacy front cut. japanese import under 70,000kms, not used here, has been warehoused since import. originaly spent $3500 for front cut.
also have had the gearbox adapter plate made up to fit khombi gearbox. spent $1000
also brand new heavy duty clutch plate spent $280
modified engine mounts and turbos remounted to fit in khombi spent $270
So originally spent over $5000 and unfortunately spent the rest of the money i had borrowed to finish the conversion on other things.
reason for sale, the job is beyond my skills, and budget for at least next few years. has allready been sitting on rack (indoors) for several years.
I am unsure of current market value, but was hoping to get at least half of what i payed for it back, so if any one is interested call me on 0438321254 west sydney area
Matt , I think you have made a error in the post . The motor would be a EJ20 Twin turbo ? not a EJ22 twin turbo
a few ? regarding the motor if I can ask , are the injectors gray or yellow ?
may be post a photo of all you have

ok its possible i have made a mistake, its been a while since i looked at it, but from memory the enjine number started with ej22, i will check, and work on getting some photos up. may be a few days. At risk of sounding like a complete spud, were exactly is the number printed again? i can't seem to find it. like i said before its been a long time, and im not that up on my enjine knowledge. there isn't a whole lot of yellow on it, only the oil cap and dipstick.
will have some photos up soon
ok its official, i am a spud.
there is EJ20 printed on the block down near the alternator.
my memory has let me down again, i recall there was extra numers after the ej22 bit, so where now does the rest of the enjine code be?
some pics will up tonight when i get home
hi all
sorrry for the earlier confusion...
here are some pics i hope they are helpfull
any more questions, be free to ask
i mounted the adapted flywheel and gearbox adpater long time ago so cannot take sepperat pics. (without taking them off again)
the engine has been mounted in my bus, and fits well! although have not got to the stage of trying to start the enjine yet, due to the required custom exhaust($$$) and water cooling
have heard rumours of needing an after market computer, I am not the man with these answers, the original wiring loom and computer will be included.
would love to see this project moved to a better home and up and running!
