Have read that 'White line' have them to suit, but dont quote me on that.
I will need exactly the same thing, so let me know how you go.
Thanks, Kevin

Me too Mick, i need one for a balljoint, if we can get a few we may get a discount hopefully.
Damo.
This is my Volkswagen, there are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Volkswagen is useless, without my Volkswagen, I am useless.
61 Karmann Ghia 2110cc type1 w Los Panchito's
66 Deluxe Beetle 2270 type 4
10 Subaru WRX Impreza
sounds good to me - if we get a few i can check with Whiteline i guess - see what their price is.
Hello,
I will narrow a beam for $200 and fit adjusters, you supply adjusters (or i can).

Damien.

Sorry Damien, i've got the beam (good to know you do them though) - we are after a sway bar to suit a 2inch narrowed beam.
Ok, I did some ringing around today and found out that Whiteline dont stock and can not supply stuff for our VW's any more. He did give me number and I rang Mat at Superior Suspension, Minto 9603 0100 and got the following prices. Keeping in mind that this is for my 61 model, but prices for later ones would be close to these. They make them to suit linkpin and ball joint front ends :
Front kit
2" Narrowed sway bar - Selby Brand
16mm Fixed $160-170
18mm Adjustable $227
Rear kit
Selby Brand
22mm Fixed $200
22mm Adjustable $227
These are supply only prices and made to order. They will also make any size narrow swaybar to suit the front.
Hope this helps, Kevin

Futue te ipsum!!!
well left it too late - the Minto crowd in under new management and the prices are way more now.
Has anyone got a 2inch narrowed front end sway bar recently?
Bugger !!!! If you find more please let me know.
Kev

George at Classicveedub sells the CB performance 2 inch narrowed ones. Brand new. I think they are about $400 from memory but you'd have to call.
Cheers
Steve
$400, what a bloody jip.
take u old one to king springs or [someone similar] and ask them the cost to make the same thing 2 inches narrower and reem out your standard rubbers uself.
bugger is right Kev.
Don't have an old one 🙂 currently have nothing on the front end.
hmmm...i think you can get them for around $320 with the clips - that may be the cheapest...
Sorry, I was referring to a narrowed beam for about $400 from George. I re-read this and your talking about narrowed sway bars. Oops
Steve
Guys, some good news. I had a PM today asking me about sway bars and this prompted me and I have made some phone calls etc.
I (we) can get the Empi 19mm (3/4") sway bar kit for a 2" narrowed beam from Classic Vee Dub and they are a complete kit with bushes and clamps. They will sell for about $160 and I thought this was cheap and even questioned George, but he assures me the price is right.
Note: this is for Link pin setup, so maybe he has ball joint sway bars now if you are lucky. Dont know if price will vary. So if you are interested ring George as Classic Vee Dub 9638 4200 and place an order.
The only draw back is he has just sold the last one (to me) but states there will be more on order soon, so dont worry. Give George a call.
Hope this helps a few of you, Kevin
