As per topic, i did a few google searches and i couldn't seem to see any explanation on how its installed.
How do the deep sumps install?

they typically bolt onto where the standard sump plate bolts on.

Hi
they fit where the sump plate goes
so they are held on by the 6 small nuts..
not much on a large sump...
I have the small CB Performance one on My beetle
You take the original strainer out
and use the strainer/filter in the sump
so I only use one thick sump gasket plus the washers etc
I fitted this mainly for the extra fine strainer which works great..
I know of one fellow who actually uses a motor bike filter inside the small sump...
the larger ones which are really compulsary for racing etc
use a lot of extra oil..
so the oil change gets a bit expensive... lol
I should have taken some pics of My sump as i had it off yesterday changing the oil...
