Early bay commercials - same colour inside and out?

I know in the US they used a L74X grey for the load areas, the body colour was used in the cab and the seat bulkheads, but what for Australia? Chatter I've picked up is that it seems panel vans were painted the one colour all over - can anyone confirm this or have other ideas?
