hey all just been down to see westi @ the shop. haven't been down to do any work on the junka as i've been heaps busy with work westi hasnt touched her either for the same reason. i'm thinking about motor options for my bug, westi said he'll sell me the junka's motor for my beetle, and to make him an offer. as he's a mate & we help each other out so much with every car we build i dont want to insult or take advantage. so what do you guys rekon might be a reasonable kind of figure to offer for the junkas powerplant

I'VE HELPED WESTI BUILDING THE JUNKA
FOR GOD KNOWS HOW LONG NOW.
MY CAR IS A PROJECT THAT HASN,T BEGUN YET
HAVE PAN , SHELL ETC , & THAT BUILD WILL START WHEN I
GET MY FINGER OUT , & ROPE WESTI IN FOR HELP.
THE JUNKAS MOTOR WOULD GO IN MY CAR.
& WE'D PUT A NEW MOTOR IN THE JUNKA

OK :crazy
THE MOTOR WE WERE GUNNA GET FOR THE JUNKA
HAS'NT PANNED OUT.
SO WE'RE STICKING WITH THE ORIGINAL
BUT WE ARE GOING TO A DRY SUMP , METHANOL INJECTION & QUAD THROTTLE BODIES
SO IN SAYING THAT THE MOTOR IS'NT FOR SALE ANY MORE .
HOWEVER WE DO HAVE A PAIR OF "51 IDA WEBBERS" + LINKAGES + MANIFOLDS $1000 IF ANYBODIES
INTERESTED.

Im thinking oxyboxer, 88mm crank flanged T1 crank, 4" bore, a touch under 2.9lt. A set of autocraft or superflow heads, high compression, big roller cam and lots of revs.
