G'day
Has any super bug owner fitted Holden commodore either VN or VS seats, or what is the best alternative make seats to fit without having to tear my hair out or chop the bug to pieces.
Regards

ive seen them fitted b4
main problem with them was the size - it was almost impossible to get to the handbrake without it feeling like finding coins down a couch and they didnt have a release lever to fold them forward only the wind control on the side which took forever to wind forward

most medium sized car seats fit well
my black bug had honda accord seats and ive got gen5 celica seats in my Lbug and it only took some modding to the seat none to the car to fit

the best seats seem to be any honda but i have seen hyundi seats in a few cars and they look great and not to big keeping any seat has to not only be narrow but the seat cannot be high as you will be forced to chop ya legs of at the hip or the steering wheele will hit

I think u will find there TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wide for a bug

JAP car seats are the go much narrower and fit pretty easy if you have some stock lowere seat runners
just a matter of welding some tube to the existing runners and making sure you have th right ride height
I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true

Something from a 2 door jap sports car would be the best bet. This will ensure they arent too wide, and have the tilting action for rear seat access.
