probably should change your add to Auto Electrician of you might end up with a couple of GPO's tech screwed to your dash with some BP's taping into the power feeds...

Not sure where you are in Brissie but Brett Baxter in Bellbowrie helped me with a few issues on my 72 beetle. His number is 0412 871 751 and he will come to you as well.

Yes, best to take it to someone who knows VW wiring
as they are different to other cars and some other VWs...
