Any one looking to recapture the 80s look ?

Free to good home, or the first interested AVDer.

I have a chrome louvered firewall panel. (no side panels).
This has never been fitted to a car, and still has the protective plastic film covering it.
I wouldnt say it is perfect, but ok for free.

Pick up in Belmore, Sydney.....near VVDS.

I have received two PMs for the firewall panel.

dbbaja is first in line, and waiting for dimensions and weight to calculate shipping to Queensland. I am off tomorrow, so will update the dimensions & weight.

trickysimon is second in line, if dbbaja decides not to take it.

miikeboyle is third in line.

Thanks for your interest guys, Im glad someone is going to make use of it.

Wayne.

dbbaja is the lucky new owner of the firewall panel. I will try and get to the post office tomorrow.

Thanks for all the interest, almost a shame I only had one to give away.

Hi Wayne

Thanks for the chance to get this item.
It will certinally Bling up my 68 Baja that has been a work in progress for the last year.
Very near the end if the wife does not plan too many
more projects for me.

Once again
Many Thanks

In the engine bay. It replaces the ugly tar board insulation.

you put it over the top of the tarboard unless you like lots of rattles

I have one over the tar board...

they are made from stainless steel....

Hard as hell to drill holes in them etc....

Mine is the three piece one...

I only used the back part as I have semi auto parts on the side bits, and its too hard to do anything with.... lol

except with an angle grinder.. lol...

I used flathead screws with nuts on the inside...
under the carpet... and noise reduction foam..

I love it what aftermarket fan shroud is that? Did you put the heater tubes in or did it come like that?

are we talking just the shroud or the whole engine. shroud i got a georges but i can remember was a few years ago.. engine is a t4 with the sharpbuilt conversion that was a small fortune in the end.

Dont forget to paint your fan while the the cooling shroud is off. I remember a few cars where you could see a reflection of the crappy finish on the cooling fan in the louvered panel
