what is the recommended timing setting for a 009 with a pertronicks electrical ignition kit? it says on the box that it gives a better spark etc so for the best result i would imagine there would be a different timeing setting?
Try around 12 deg. If you have a timing light then i always check maximum advance as well and try to run at least 38-40.
Drive it as you'll soon see what your engine is happy with.

agreed, ur engine would go kablamo pretty quick
they dont really give u better spark, they just deliver it more cleanly
just stick with no more than 32degrees and enjoy better starting and no more point gapping
