Hey guys, is there a way of spacing out my rear drums 3mm, so that I can fit my Centre caps on the fuchs? I cant use spacers between the wheel and drum, as I have just the right amount of lug length for the wheel nuts. Can you get slightly bigger bearing spacers?

Thanks, Nectar.

BUT THEN THAT WILL REDUCE THE BRAKE DRUM CONTACT WITH THE BRAKE SHOE
I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true

Hi

Cut the 3mm off the end of your axle with a grinder.

I have porsche ones already done to the hubs (verbus brand) they are 35mm in length. I dont want to go through pressing them out, and redoing it again....Looks like I will be hitting it with the grinder....

Thanks all, Nectar 🙂

Hi

You usually only need to remove the thread lead in section, when you have your drums off next give the end of the axle clean up. I had to do it on my daily 1303 to fit BBS wheels and also on my old 1302.

A friend of mine with Cookie cutters on his car had alloy hats made up to move his cap location out
