There is a car show on the 29 March 2009 at Flower Power Moorebank run by
" Old Car Social Club" you can look them up on the net
In aid of Diabetic awareness thought I might go good for cause and sounds like fun starts 8.00am
Just letting anyone know who may be interested or going past only costs $2.00 to look or $10 to show
All cars are welcome Veteran, Vintage or Classic

Yes this has been in the Club Veedub calendar for a few months. We will have a VW presence there. All VWs welcome to join us.

Planning on getting there about 8 am.

We got four Kombis, two Beetles, one New Beetle and one Type 3 turn up, which was pretty good. Unfortunately it was first-in first park, so there wasn't the chance to park all the VWs together.

Wayne Murray won the Best Post '65 Commercial trophy for his '76 Single Cab, which was a great effort. Peter from Flat Four also won a trophy for his red 'billet bug'. I got interviewed by the DJ about my camper, and I won a Mothers Car Care pack.

Really enjoyable day - some very nice cars there. Thanks to the VW drivers who turned up - where were all the others???
