- You swear your bog standard 1300 Beetle will out do any 4WD on the beach.
- The only gifts from you friends and family are VW related.
- 8 isn't enough.
- You just don't 'get' putting the engine in the front.
- when you spend 4 hours hiking through a national park thinking about what a great drive it'd be in the Baja.
- turning the aircon on is code for winding the winds down.
- you wave to every Volkswagen you see, whether there's someone in it or not.

It won't discolour whilst it's on the bedside table.The magnetism refers to the quality of the stainless steel.
