Found this pic on the internet. I haven't seen these Scirocco wheels before? Does anyone know what they are called?

lush wheels. i don't know who made them but i have seen pics of them on a 181 or kubel on one of the forums.

also, is it really odd for a scirocco with wide 5 brakes? i would so drive that anytime, it is seriously tasty.

The front wheel and back wheel are absolutley identical, pixel for pixel. And the centre looks like a VW Beetle rear drum, judging from the size of the centre nut.

Looks to me like a Photoshop cut and paste of a Beetle wheel shot onto the Scirocco. Sciroccos had 4 x 100 PCD, same as early Golf.

aside from ugly??
as phil said its a photoslop

all the smallish 4cyl water pumpers till late 90s were all 4x100

and look closer
as phil noticed its the same wheel front and back, both a 6volt beetle rear drum
funny that with sciroccos being FWD and all 🙄

Hey cb john,

Thanks for identifying them as JD Race Rims. I could only find a reference to them on a website with a picture of them on a Kubel. They wrote "lets call them JD Race Rims". Do you have any more information on them? The link I found is:
