Won't be doing much this yr...my eldest and his fiance are planning to have the wedding in Denmark next yr...and I was going to try and get ahead on the mortage...lol ... I have to try and save for a while so don't think interstaye event are on the agenda for a while...dubs at d pub is a good one to visit...damn

Damn, every shot I have is over limit. Shall try to get a few smaller ones and post them. Its not yet completly finished as I need to line the shed and do a few other things. But structurally its there. Just the decking and joists for my verandah are no a priority.
Oh, and it may have been wet up here but at least it was still warm 🙂

..kitchen is a lot cooler now....the BBQ and salads do come in handy...I was so determined not to put in aircon and the ceiling fans are cool. Yes did go to drastic measures to stay cool the other week when trying to get food together for family coming over..even thought the oven wasn't on...you don't need to know 😀
Have the engagement party here next week...I hope is stays cool👍
It can warm up again in a couple of weeks time and we can take the trakka away for a weekend or two over summer👍

I bought a house and have been working 6-7 days a week and some nights for the last year or so. I still take the Oval out most sunday mornings with the vintage club, but have missed the last 6 VW shows or so. I have slowed down a bit now and have some spare time to come back on here. I saw the pictures of the VW 38 that was found and this has renewed my enthusiasm a bit, I hope we can track whats going to happen with this car! Its good to be back and see some of the fresh stuff thats around now, you get sick of going to the shows and seeing the same old cars and overpriced spares and accessories. I have been going to some hot rod shows and have noticed the increasing number of VW's turning up they seem to be gaining acceptance with the custom crowd. And I had to come back my old mate Stanley needed some friendly guidance, why would anyone want to put a womens hair dryer on the engine of their little Beetle?

working on something along those lines. Already made a radiator mesh grill with the punisher skull on it in flat white, got the pinup chick stickers on the inside of the cab and the drunken skeleton hanging off the rear vision mirror! Next its the mexican blanket for a seat cover and door trims, and a bit of pin striping on the dash!

I have the older son just starting to get into the terrible two's.
Terrible twos. Its been 8 years since I have suffered with that problem! Wait till they hit 18 and become an "Adult" that's when the real fun starts. Although the extortion tactic's at the supermarket are still etched into my failing grey matter, you know "Dad can I have the latest and greatest lolly" not today! then all hell breaks loose, the tantrem starts and the old ladies say what a shocking father he must be and how they would have handled it better. Oh the sweet memories! I wouldn't change a thing!
