Can anyone help????
Im looking for the best way to insure a 1959 VW beetle????
Personally, I'm with Shannons and they have been great.
Try doing a search, there have been a lot of threads about this in the past.

I have been with Shannons for the last 15 years, but I had to renew my policy at the end of May that had 3 vehicles on it. 2 cars & my bike asked Shannons why the price for my bike was $650 thats the price I was told, so I asked for it to be taken of the policy, hence the 2 cars went up by 1/3 because I removed the bike. and the answer was"take it or leave it,we dont haggle". Went to NRMA Classic & vintage could not be more helpful. They have a policy that covers all old vehicles & it also has & cover for breakdowns ,theft etc that if you are more than 100k's from home it includes accommodation repairs towing etc to the value of $3000.00.the bike cost me with them $320 also.
So as far as I am concerned Shannons have lost the plot since they were takenover by a multinational. I know NRMA is a multi also but at least they wanted to try and help & got my businness.
Still happy with Shannons- 3 vehicles- one was added recently and I had windscreen broken 10 days later. Claim authorised in about 15 mins.

yeah dude, shannons all the way, been with them for 3 years now and cant fault them.... cheap premium, high insurance value, free replacement windscreens and full salvage rights

Thanks guys.
Try Gio Classic insurance as well. They were better than Shannons for me.
Now taking donations to help make a Beetle healthy again 😂
