Hi Folks,
Long story short - my engines crapped itself and I need to source another. Before i go and throw down my savings on a rebuild at my faithful VW mechanic, i thought id see whats out there.
Im looking at anything from a fresh std 1600 Twin port up to a decent street 1916. Im willing to spend the $$ on a good fresh engine if there is one out there, and id also prefer carbs to be part of the picture as well as mine are very tired. Unforts i dont have the room to be building an engine myself as i currently live in a unit complex.
It is for a daily driver (well 2-3 times a week), so nothing with a ridiculous cam etc etc in it.
