Thank you for your advice. My vehicle is located at my factory, which is Paint Supplies of S.A. in HENDON SA.
(for more photos email me at: save@paintsupplies.com.au or ring Ruth on Ph: 08 8347 7171.)
2 years ago, I was elected Mayor of the 2nd larget Council in South Australia. This has given me no time to work on my project so I would rather sell all the items as 1 lot so someone else can build the best, toughest Beetle in Australia! This was my orignal intention and I would still like to think it could become all I imagined under the careful devotion of another passionate enthusiast.

As one dubber to another, I hope you understand. Thanks again!

Autocraft engines are aftermarket versions of the type 1.
Judging by the 2.7 litre capacity it's most likely an ex-speedway engine.

My 2c is that Gary really needs to put up a heap of photos and details as also suggested above. My thoughts are from what he has shown so far (1 photo) is only about $1500 worth and yet he states he wants $14,000. No good saying he has all the stuff and not showing it to give interested parties half a clue.

I thought rebuilding a VW would be cheap - Shit I was wrong, just don't let the wife know !!!!

Hi. Not sure on specs. Was spare motor for race car. Has spares with it, supposed to be fine but I have not run it. Believed to be approx 270HP.

P.s. Sorry I do not know computers and Ruth is not sure if this website allows extra photos. Ruth runs my computer system and will happily email photos of parts to interested parties.

Regards, Gary
